A grounded, solution-focused approach
Therapy at InnerSpark is collaborative, practical, and focused on progress. Dr. Madsen draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy to help you understand what’s happening, learn skills that actually work, and apply them in real life — with structure, direction, and support.
-

1. Understand the pattern
Clarify what’s driving the struggle and what’s keeping it stuck.
-

2. Build practical skills
Learn tools you can use immediately, not just talk about.
-

3. Apply them in real life
Turn insight into action, confidence, and momentum.
Who I Work With
-

Teens & Young Adults
Support for anxiety, ADHD, motivation, confidence, school stress, and navigating social and emotional challenges. My background in a school setting allows me to connect with adolescents in a way that feels relatable and direct.
-

Adults
For adults seeking a more structured, solution-focused approach to therapy. Sessions focus on understanding patterns, building skills, and creating meaningful change without getting stuck in endless rumination.
-

Parents & Families
Guidance for parents navigating complex family dynamics or supporting children and adult children with significant mental health challenges. Therapy often focuses on communication, boundaries, and sustainable ways to support without burning out.
